The End of Life Special interest group is co-chaired by Rosanna Ellis and Lauren Macdonald. Some of the most well known psychedelic trials have studied the utility of psychedelics in people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses to treat symptoms of anxiety, depression and existential distress.

The End of Life Special Interest Group will be a place for those who currently work in palliative care and anyone else who is passionate about this area to come together to reflect, discuss and explore what we currently know from the research and other topics including:

* What does a good death mean to you?
* Exploration of themes from qualitative research
* When might psychedelic therapy be helpful for someone with life-threatening disease or terminal illness, and when might it be contraindicated or not appropriate?
* How might psychedelic therapy be integrated into palliative care?
* What are the risks we need to consider?
* Can psychedelics help us to die better?
